Hex to Binary Conversion Chart

For use with setting up Countries.dat file entries -

Calculators will never show leading zeroes (at the beginning of a result). That doesn't matter for most applications, but it's essential that you include them when you are constructing a hex or binary code or bitmap.

All you need to do when converting a code or range to binary is to make sure that the total number of ones and zeroes corresponds to the number that you have told BaseStation to expect, and if necessary add leading zeroes.

e.g. Ireland Mil 252=001101000010000110010111,24,Ireland_Mil.bmp

The chart below obviates the need to worry about this as it gives a straight and full Hex ready for use

e.g. Hex 342197 = 001101000010000110010111
